Assistive Technology for Disabled Children
This is a program aimed to help disabled children with communication problems, especially Rett children. The child can select from a list of pictures using two buttons. The child starts with 1 picture in the list and, as they learn, might progress to over 200.
Requirements
This program needs the following:
- Windows 95
- About 1MB of free hard disk space
- A selection of pictures (in almost any form)
- Two sound files
- Two large buttons, connected to the PC in some form, either through the keyboard or via a mouse or
- Some method of turning the keyboard into 2 large buttons

When you have downloaded the file Chevex13.exe, run it (by double clicking its icon) and it will extract the files into the directory you suggest.
Read the help file carefully before starting to use the program. It includes advice on how to use the program for the first time and how to use a standard keyboard, a modified keyboard or a mouse to provide the large buttons.
